I’m Cody, LICSW, MSW
I help teens, young adults, men, and parents slow down, reconnect, and leave therapy feeling more secure, confident, and at peace in their own skin.
How I Work
My approach blends depth with practicality. I integrate:
Somatic therapy to work with what the body holds from stress and trauma
Mindfulness and movement to create tools you can use beyond the session
Nature-based practices that offer clarity and grounding outside of four walls
Therapy intensives for when you’re ready to go deeper, faster — a focused container designed to create momentum and lasting change
This isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about real tools, honest connection, and the space to feel understood — not just managed. Parents learn new ways of showing up. Teens feel heard without judgment. Young adults find direction for their next chapter.

My Path:
Why I Do This Work
I know what it’s like to look strong on the outside while feeling disconnected or overwhelmed inside. That’s a place I’ve been myself — and for nearly 20 years, I’ve helped teens, young adults, and families move through it with more clarity, confidence, and connection.
I started Trailhead Holistic Counseling to offer something different: therapy that isn’t rushed, cookie-cutter, or overly clinical. Instead, I bring together somatic practices, mindfulness, and the grounding rhythm of nature — always at a pace that honors your nervous system.
Beyond Therapy
Healing isn’t just professional for me — it’s personal. In college, I studied anthropology, which taught me that across cultures, healing has always been connected to nature, community, and creativity. That perspective still shapes how I work today.
Outside of sessions, you’ll probably find me in a bookstore, digging through record bins, hiking quiet trails, or rewatching Star Wars for the hundredth time. These are the ways I recharge and reconnect — the same kind of balance I want to help you find in your own life.
